Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our website and the technology behind it.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. The information contained in cookies enables us to make navigation easier for you and to display our web pages correctly.

Under no circumstances will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

SSL encryption

In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Newsletter

Based on your explicit consent, we will regularly send you our newsletter or comparable information by e-mail to your specified e-mail address.

Your e-mail address is sufficient for receiving the newsletter. When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail of circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

Your e-mail addrFor an effective registration, we need a valid e-mail address. We use the “double opt-in” procedure in order to verify that a registration is actually carried out by the owner of an e-mail address. To this end, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the reply requested herewith. Further data will not be collected. The data will be used exclusively for the newsletter dispatch and will not be passed on to third parties.ss is sufficient for receiving the newsletter. When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail of circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for newsletter dispatch at any time. In every newsletter, you will find a corresponding link. You can also unsubscribe directly from this website at any time or inform us of your wish via the contact details given at the end of this data protection notice.

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending out our newsletter. We partly use an external service provider for the dispatch of the newsletter and the data processing mentioned below. This service provider has been carefully selected and commissioned by us, is bound by our instructions and is checked regularly.

For the evaluation of the usage behaviour, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent one-pixel image files stored on the website of our external service provider. For evaluation purposes, we link the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. Links and/or QR codes received in the newsletter also contain this ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile in order to adapt the newsletter to your individual interests. We record when you read our newsletters, which links you click in the newsletters and infer your personal interests from this. We link this data with the actions you take on our website.

You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each e-mail or by informing us of another contact method. The information is stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we store the data purely statistically and anonymously. Moreover, such tracking is not possible if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail program by default. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed completely and you may not be able to use all functions. If you display the images manually, the above tracking will take place.

Contact form

If you contact us with any questions by e-mail or contact form, give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address. This is used to assign the request and then answer it. The entry of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Personal data will be deleted automatically after your request has been processed.

Founder check

If you use our founder check, we record your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number and your postal address in order to send you your personal evaluation and to offer you advice on your foundation as a pre-contractual measure. As a business letter, we keep the data with us for 7 years. We do not pass these data on without your consent.

Your rights

In principle, you are entitled to the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. You can find a list of the responsible supervisory authorities by federal state at www.datenschutz-wiki.de.

Further information on your rights can be found on the website of the BFDI – Die Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as provided for by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased or these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to present our content correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and for what purposes – for the operators of such libraries to collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites, we embed YouTube videos. Operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This will tell YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can personally assign your surfing behavior to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies, which collect information about the user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Your rights to information, rectification, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or deleted, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions. Please contact our data protection officer. You will find the contact details at the bottom of this page.

In order that a block of data can be considered at any time, these data must be kept in a block file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, unless there is a legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.

You can change or revoke your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. Your renewed visit will then be subject to the new data protection declaration.
